Quality Policy Statement

We at Limerick Polymers Production are committed to the principles and practice of
excellence and will conform to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard as part
of our Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management System as follows by:
▪ Ensuring that the company fully meets the requirements of its customers and by
endeavouring to enhance the overall service to its customers.
▪ Ensuring that our customers are fully satisfied with our service.
▪ Ensuring that the company’s entire workforce is given sufficient training and
development support to provide for fully competent staff.
▪ Ensuring that the very best products/equipment and technical advice are made
available to our customers and that their user specifications are met.
▪ Working closely with our customers and suppliers to develop and maintain first-class
relationships.
▪ Through its management and staff being committed to the policy of continuous
improvement of the Organisation and its Customer Services.
▪ Through a commitment to being an efficient and profitable organisation by
following good work practices in all areas of its operation.
By determining the needs and expectations of our interested parties and reviewing both
our internal and external issues, we have planned and established measurable objectives
in conjunction with the strategic direction of the business. These objectives are regularly
reviewed and measured by management.
This Quality Policy has been communicated to all our employees and is fully supported
by the management team.

SAFETY POLICY

Safety Policy Statement

It is the policy of Limerick Polymers Production to promote high standards of health,
safety and welfare that comply with the provisions and requirements of the Safety,
Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 to 2016, as well as
all other statutory provisions and Codes of Practice.
We are committed to the prevention of injury and ill health and to the safety of our workers,
and we are committed to ensuring the safety of visitors, clients, and contractors on our
various sites/workplaces under our control. It is the policy of management at Limerick
Polymers Production:
▪ To ensure that all workers realise that they have a responsibility to co-operate
with Management, in order to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take
reasonable care of themselves and others.
▪ To consult with all workers on matters of health and safety and to ensure
compliance with our Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management
System.
▪ To co-operate with, and seek the co-operation of, interested parties, including
clients, sub-contractors, and enforcing authorities, to ensure work is carried out
in a safe manner.
▪ To review the contents of our Safety Statement as changes occur in this operation
and periodically, to ensure this document is relevant.
▪ To bring the contents of the Safety Statement to all workers’ attention, at least
annually, by providing them with access to the document.
▪ To provide sufficient resources for the implementation of this policy and to seek
competent advice if required, allowing also for the consultation of occupational
health and safety between all workers within the business.
▪ To provide health surveillance where a need is identified by a risk assessment or
where prescribed by law.
▪ To source materials that comply with the appropriate safety standards.
The senior management team of Limerick Polymers Production has planned and
established measurable objectives and targets based on the Health and Safety Policy
and strategic direction of the business. These objectives are regularly reviewed and
measured to ensure they reflect the activities of the company. Management also strives
to build on the health and safety management system we have achieved through a
process of continuous improvement.
This Safety Policy has been communicated to all our employees and is fully supported by
the management team.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We at Limerick Polymers Production are committed to the prevention of pollution and

protecting and conserving the natural environment.

We demonstrate this commitment by incorporating environmental consciousness in our

daily activities and complying with all statutory, regulatory requirements and recognised

standards. The Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management System is

designed to continually improve our environmental performance while considering the

strategic direction of the business.

We are committed to the effective implementation of our Quality, Environmental, and

Healthy & Safety Management System and continual improvement. We take

responsibility for the impact of our organisation on the environment. Our policy is to

measure, manage, and minimise our impact on the environment.

We achieve this by:

▪ Ensuring that the company fully meets the requirements of its customers and by

endeavouring to enhance the overall service to its customers.

▪ Conserving resources, promoting recycling, and reducing waste as far as

practical.

▪ Ensuring efficient use of resources such as energy and water.

▪ Preventing pollution through a combination of controls and monitoring

▪ Ensuring that all personnel on site are aware of their responsibility regarding

environmental procedures and requirements.

▪ Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

▪ Ensure the Environmental Policy is made available to employees, interested

parties, and the public.

▪ Continually improve by setting and reviewing objectives and targets.

▪ Maintain documented Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management

System for all activities and regularly reviewed by an audit to confirm the system’s

effectiveness.

▪ Initiate and encourage communication that will foster responsible environmental

management by all.
